Pull up to Parkway Family Chevrolet, the top Conroe used Chevy dealer, and the first thing you’ll notice is the massive variety of cars, trucks, and SUVs on our lot. Among the different body styles are a variety of sizes and trims designed for a whole host of buyers. Are you seeking an affordable starter car, or is your busy family looking for a large SUV to take you on your next adventure?

Regardless of what’s on your list of must-haves, believe us when we say that you’ll find what you want within the dynamic Chevy lineup. Pick a category of the buyer, and there are multiple vehicles that will fit like a glove. For example, commuters can choose from a crossover, a hatchback, a sedan, and even a small pickup truck. With so many options, the hardest part is settling on just one.

If luxury is your thing, you’ll find plenty of premium vehicles and trims in the Chevy lineup. One look at the Silverado High Country or the stunning and powerful Blazer Premier reveals a side of Chevy that many buyers aren’t even aware of, and it’s a world of plush perforated leather seating, next-gen infotainment, and powerful Bose audio systems.

Here are our five favorite Chevys of all time.

1. The Suburban

If you need an SUV with 420 horsepower, nearly 145 cubic feet of cargo volume, and seating for up to nine passengers, take a closer look at the legendary Chevy Suburban. A rainbow of exterior color options and multiple available trims put buyers in control of choosing a Suburban with the exact features and equipment they desire. It’s all about freedom of choice with the Chevy Suburban.

Which one will you choose? Your options range from well-equipped base models to off-road ready trims and even top-of-the-line luxury versions for a refined cabin feel. Many buyers in this category demand tons of premium features, and the Suburban doesn’t disappoint. Leather seating surfaces, oversized touchscreens, and driver-assist safety systems are among the goodies you’ll find on the Suburban.

Best of all, the Suburban is a people mover. Most newer model years are extremely family-friendly, offering room for everyone to spread out, along with rear-seat entertainment systems that keep the kids entertained on long road trips. As an enduring nameplate in the Chevy lineup, the Suburban earns its spot at the top of the large SUV category year after year. It’s safe, spacious, and surprisingly luxurious.

2. The Corvette

What comes to mind when you hear the name Corvette? If you answered style and track-ready performance, you’d be correct. The legendary Corvette remains the most affordable high-performance sports car on the market, easily keeping up with many of its exotic six-figure competitors. Car and Driver gives the Corvette a perfect 10/10, citing the “surgically precise handling” as a key reason.

Available in both a coupe and a convertible body style, Chevy’s flagship sports car delivers close to 500 horsepower. Adding one of the available performance packages equips the ‘Vette with the goods to reach 60 mph in a scant 2.9 seconds. Inside, the cabin features racing-inspired touches, like a squared-off steering wheel.

For most model years, the Corvette lineup consists of multiple available trims. Upper range trims fill the cabin with luxurious finishes like leather-appointed seating and premium audio systems with multiple speakers. Newer model years aren’t offered with a manual transmission but do feature steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters for the incredibly fast dual-clutch transmission. If speed, futuristic style, and epic handling are on your list, the iconic Corvette is a must-see.

3. The Trax

Who doesn’t love a great bargain? The Chevy Trax sits at the entry-level end of Chevy’s SUV lineup, offering first-time buyers a modestly priced crossover option. Despite its affordable price, the Trax is a stylish little ute with plenty of practical features. It offers tons of cargo space and impressive fuel economy ratings, making it great for commuters and weekend road trippers.

Don’t let all that practicality fool you, though. Buyers can opt for upgrades like leatherette seat trim, keyless start, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel to add a sprinkling of luxury, and many model years contained available appearance packages, like the Sport Edition, which add features like 18-inch glossy black wheels and skid plates for a more dramatic curb appeal.

The Trax comes in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive configurations, and a standard turbocharged four-cylinder engine delivers enough horsepower to make the drive fun. Inside, the Trax’s cabin feels extra spacious thanks to the tall seating position and high roofline. From a safety standpoint, the Trax ticks all the boxes, with every model year from 2015 to 2022 receiving a perfect 5-Star Overall Safety Rating from the NHTSA.

4. The Blazer

Even if you’re not a car buff, you’ve probably heard the name Blazer. The Chevy Blazer was one of the industry’s first-ever SUVs, and one that kicked off America’s ongoing obsession with the now ubiquitous utility vehicle body style. Today, the Blazer sits in the midsize SUV segment, offering buyers a performance-oriented option that is big on style.

Since its rerelease in 2019, the Blazer has occupied an important spot in Chevy’s SUV lineup, weaving in enough value to still be practical without abandoning exterior curb appeal. The Blazer’s sculpted body lines and available two-tone roof distinguish it from the more vanilla offerings in the midsize SUV category.

Historically, the Blazer has been more aligned with off-roading than the valet line, but in its newest iteration, this midsize SUV doubles down on appearance both inside and out. Add to that an available V6 that delivers over 300 horsepower with available all-wheel drive, and the Blazer will tick all the boxes for buyers looking for a little extra zest in their family SUV.

5. The Silverado

What’s not to love about the rugged Silverado pickup? This full-size rig is a best-seller for its legendary capability, but in recent years, a whole new crop of buyers is choosing the Silverado pickup lifestyle for one unexpected reason: luxury. These days, you’re just as likely to find leather seating and oversized touchscreens on Chevy’s flagship pickup as you are a coating of mud from the trail.

As American families grow weary of the SUV, they’re finding a new appreciation for full-size crew cab pickup trucks. With trims like the High Country, the Silverado delivers all the interior refinement and conveniences buyers want and need, along with a handy truck bed and impressive towing capabilities. If the thought of an SUV has you stifling a yawn, perhaps it’s time to test drive a Silverado 1500.

Every Silverado model year offers multiple engine and drivetrain configurations, from fuel-efficient gas-powered versions to powerful diesels rated for heavy-duty towing. Combine that with a large variety of trims and equipment packages, and buyers should have an easy time finding a truck that suits their lifestyle and budget, whether they’re heading to the job site or a weekend family ski vacation.

There’s a Chevy for Every Buyer

The Chevy bowtie badge has symbolized quality and value for well over a century. Within the extensive lineup of Chevy cars, trucks, and SUVs, there is truly an option for every kind of buyer. Moms and dads, college grads, and even commercial buyers will have no issue finding a Chevy vehicle with all the features they need at a price that won’t break the bank.

Look just about anywhere, and you’re sure to see a Chevy parked nearby. From the track-ready Corvette to the practical Trax, you won’t beat Chevrolet’s proven dependability. Chevy vehicles are an American staple, leaving only one remaining question: which used model is right for you?
