Fantastic New Chevy Models

For a driving experience unlike any other, nothing beats the feel and performance of a brand new Chevy vehicle. Whether you are looking for a large SUV for your growing family, a hard-working pickup for the job site, or a fast and sporty coupe, there is a Chevy model that is perfect for you. New Chevy vehicles are among the most popular and exciting cars, trucks, and SUVs on the road, with a wide range of options available. So no matter what you are looking for, we have you covered as your Texas Chevy dealer when it comes to new models.

One of the great things about the modern Chevy lineup is that there is something for everyone for you to choose from. There are numerous Chevy SUVs, for example, with models in pretty much every size and segment available. Chevy sports cars include the legendary Corvette and the incredible Camaro, giving you two different options for speed, performance, and comfort. There's simply nothing better than taking the trip down Interstate 45 towards Houston with the wind on your face, and the same can be said for local city driving, such as taking a leisurely drive by Pundt Park. Meanwhile, the Colorado and Silverado provide you with amazing choices for a pickup that can work and play just as hard as you do. Maybe you work out of one of the neighboring districts of Spring; these trucks will help you get around with ease, with all of your cargo in tow.

Our Wide Selection of Used Vehicles

Although we certainly love brand-new models here at Parkway Chevrolet, we also know that they are not right for everyone. Whether you are looking to save some money upfront or simply want to skip the initial depreciation of a new car, a pre-owned option is a fantastic choice. That is why we work hard to maintain a terrific selection of used vehicles for you to choose from, including a wide range of different makes and models. We love our Chevy vehicles, of course, but we carry pre-owned options from many other manufacturers, including Ford, Toyota, and Jeep, for you to consider. Looking for the perfect vehicle for those relaxation days, perhaps a day where you go down to play some holes at the Cypresswood Golf Club, or maybe you're looking to take your fluffy friend to the Lents Dog Park? We guarantee there's a vehicle here to fit any of your favorite occasions.

Some people worry that choosing a used car means you have to miss out on flexibility since you cannot customize it the way you can a new car. In reality, shopping for a pre-owned car, truck, or SUV can still afford you a tremendous amount of freedom to find just what you need. With so many different used vehicles to consider, you can more easily focus on the specs you need and then look for a model with the options you want. This requires a diverse selection of great models, which is why we pride ourselves on maintaining a fantastic inventory for you to choose from.

The Best CPO Chevy Models

A new vehicle gives you fantastic peace of mind but can also be outside some people's budget, while a used option is more affordable but doesn't usually come with any warranties or support. The middle way between these two options, which we would argue gives you the best of both worlds, is a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle. These are models that have been driven by someone else, often on a lease, but meet the highest standards and come with factory support.

Chevy CPO vehicles have to be no more than six model years old, and they cannot have more than 75,000 miles on them. In addition to this, every one of these vehicles must pass a rigorous 172-point vehicle inspection to ensure it is in the best condition possible, and it must have a clean title. Only once these requirements are met can a vehicle be offered as a Chevy CPO model, and you will only find these models only at a qualified Chevy dealership like Parkway Chevrolet.

Best of all, every CPO Chevy comes with a 12-month/12,000-mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty and a 6-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty from the manufacturer. To put this in perspective, Spring is less than ten miles across from West to East, so if you're the local type of driver, then you won't have to worry about your CPO warranty ending anytime soon. This provides you with incredible peace of mind that you do not get from any other used model. With complimentary roadside assistance and many other great benefits included, it is easy to see why so many people choose a CPO Chevy.

Chevy Silverado

The Silverado is an undisputed legend in the realm of pickup trucks. The Silverado is so popular that it's the second best-selling vehicle in the United States, slightly lagging behind the Ford F-150. The Silverado 1500 is slated as the lightest pickup truck of the three, but that's not to say that it's not full of power. For example, it's possible to get a towing capacity of up to 13,300 lbs with your Silverado 1500, you can always count on a respectably sized bed, and there has regularly been a host of powertrains to select from when purchasing your Silverado.

Engines such as V8s, turbocharged I-4s, and even a fair share of diesel powertrains have accompanied the lineup for many years, meaning there's a Silverado for every truck driver, whether they're looking for pure grunt, greater fuel efficiency, or both. And the Silverado 1500 still receives many of the tech features built into the more powerful Silverado HD models, such as Apple CarPlay, which arrived in 2016. Later models even get the likes of Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. These features will help you get around town with ease, and with the right app, you can also get live traffic updates around town. Cypresswood Drive can get rather busy during rush hour, so having live updates while navigating through your favorite music are just some of the benefits of having an infotainment center like this one.

For the type of shopper who knows that even a towing capacity of 13,300 lbs wouldn't suffice, there's the Silverado HD line. The Silverado 2500 HD will add an immense amount of extra towing capacity to the mix, and the Silverado 3500 HD takes it from there and amplifies it. This is because Silverado HD models have used large gasoline-powered V8 engines and optional turbo-diesel V8 for many years. Turbo-diesel engines have numerous benefits, but the two most notable advantages include an incredible towing capacity coupled with excellent fuel efficiency. So, if you're towing cargo, which can be upwards of 35,500 lbs with the right Silverado HD, then you can still expect ease of travel. This is the type of truck that hard workers in Spring, Texas, should consider.

Chevy Colorado

The Chevy Colorado serves its place in the lineup as the most affordable pickup truck Chevy offers. Cost-conscious drivers in Spring should keep their eye out for the Colorado because this affordable pickup truck still has enough grunt to complete the towing tasks of any hobbyist and the occasional hard worker. Like Chevy's other truck offerings, the Colorado can be paired with a turbo-diesel engine if you're the type of driver who wants to save the most money when taking the trip down to Houston.

Once the Colorado returned from its brief hiatus between 2013 and 2014, it was treated to a new array of powertrain configurations. One engine that has been a constant in many Colorado models since its resurgence is a 2.5L I-4 engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. When you find this engine in a Colorado model, it will give the truck 200 hp and 191 lb-ft of torque, but this generation also saw the introduction of a brand new 3.6L V6 engine.

Like the I-4, this V6 has seen plenty of usage in later Colorado models, providing 308 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque in 2017 models and newer. Before that, such as in the 2015 and 2016 Colorado, this engine offers an ever-so-slightly lower 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. And of course, the aforementioned diesel engine not only offers up the most torque against any of its other engine offerings, but it increases the towing capacity to its maximum of 7,700 lbs.

Chevy Equinox

The Equinox has always been a stellar choice for shoppers interested in a Chevy SUV. The Equinox is more feature-rich than that of the Trax and Trailblazer and costs a fair amount less than Chevy's full-size SUV offerings, such as the Suburban and Tahoe. The Equinox is already one of the more affordable vehicles on the new lot, and there are plenty of used models to choose from, considering the Equinox has been in active production since its launch in 2004. What some drivers in Spring may be interested to find out is that some older Equinox models can even outperform the newer ones.

As an example, since 2018, the Equinox has come standard with a 1.5L turbocharged engine outputting 170 hp and 203 lb-ft of torque. However, models made before 2021 offer an available turbocharged 2.0L I-4 engine that comes paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain outputs 252 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, and to the surprise of many Spring drivers, it only gets better from there.

Models such as the 2016 Equinox can be fitted with a 3.6L V6 engine that creates 301 hp and 272 lb-ft of torque, which is roughly 77% more hp and 28% more torque compared to later models. Because the Equinox is an SUV, you'll have a respectable amount of cargo space, and on average, you can expect a maximum of 63.9 cu.ft. from a wide range of Equinox models. So, let's say you're bringing groceries home from the H-E-B or you're bringing the kids to a fun-filled day at the Spring Lakes Community Pool, then you can ensure enough passenger room and cargo space for everyone to have an enjoyable time.

Chevy Suburban and Chevy Tahoe

The Chevy Suburban and Tahoe are the two full-size SUVs that Chevy fans pay attention to, whether you live in Spring, Houston, or Texas in general. The Tahoe and Suburban regularly perform similarly, and the main difference between the two comes down to size––most notably, cargo space. To take the performance into consideration, the lineup of powertrains is regularly identical between the two. The 2020 Tahoe and Suburban, for example, come with a standard 5.3L V8 engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission but also offer an available 6.2L V8 engine that produces 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. Aside from performance, the cargo space between the two is regularly the main draw between one or the other.

Because the Suburban and Tahoe are both full-size SUVs, not only can you expect three rows of seating, but you can also expect a tremendous amount of cargo space when either or both of these back rows are folded down. Both SUVs saw an increase in cargo capacity when the 2021 model was released, but models before that offered up a maximum of 94.7 cu.ft. in the Tahoe and 121.7 cu.ft. in the Suburban. Regardless of which one you purchase, this type of vehicle can transport cargo long and wide, and this will help you no matter where you live. These SUVs are highly versatile, and with this space, you can fit things such as a giant television set from Conn's HomePlus and return it home with ease.

Chevy Traverse

For the drivers who don't want to pay the higher price of the Suburban or Tahoe, there's the Traverse, which is one of Chevy's most revered three-row SUVs. A 3.6L V6 engine is regularly the configuration, but your performance may vary depending on which model you purchase. For example, the 2017 Traverse had a V6 that could output 288 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque with a dual-exhaust, but models made after that produce a respectable 310 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque. The fuel economy isn't bad either, so getting around Spring with your family or friends will be hassle-free. This means that you can bring a cabin full of your kid's friends to the Park Spring Recreation Park and then get some frozen treats at El Kiosko or some Italian ice at Buzzles Shaved Ice.

Cargo space is a must-have for three-row SUVs, and the Traverse passes with flying colors. However, what's likely to surprise many shoppers is that older Traverse models, such as the 2017 model and older, tend to offer more available cargo space than their newer counterparts. For example, the 2017 Traverse has a maximum of 116.3 cu.ft., but models from 2018 and later offer 98.2 cu.ft. of space, thanks in part to a generational shift within the lineup. Still, with this amount of cargo space, you and your passengers can load the vehicle up and take a trip East to Lake Houston for the weekend. And thanks to impressive fuel ratings, this half an hour-long trip won't mean you need to rush to the fuel pump to refill either.
