The Camaro event was held at Parkway Chevrolet on Wednesday May 6th.
During the event, six new vehicles were unveiled. The event was held the day before the vehicles were presented to Houston on the drive to the Minute Maid ball park. It was a ground breaking occasion with many people coming from all over the State to attend. It was an evening event held between 6pm and 8 pm. The guests had a wonderful time and they really enjoyed themselves. Parkway Chevrolet ensured that the guests were comfortable and they were served H’oderves, wine and tea. It was an open event with all kinds of people. People were dressed in different ways from black tie to jeans. The cars were up for sale and a total of 3 vehicles were sold at the party that night. Two cars were sold just before the event and another was sold on the Saturday after the event.
There was a magnificent parade of brand new Camaros across Houston as a prelude to an exciting car launch. The Camaro caravan journeyed through Houston stopping at certain destinations. The caravan ended at the Minute Maid Park for the Houston Astros vs. Chicago cubs’ game. It was met by members of the Camaro Club from that area. The vehicles were parked at the Avenida de Las Americas and they remained there on display during the game.
