The 2020 Chevrolet Trax seats five and is offered in three trim levels, listed as LS, LT and Premier. Powering the Trax is a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque, teamed to a six-speed automatic transmission. Buyers can stick with standard front-wheel drive or opt for the available all-wheel-drive system. Fuel economy is excellent. The Trax gets an EPA-estimated 26/31 mpg with front-wheel drive, while all-wheel-drive models return 24/29 mpg.*

Trax LS
The base Trax LS includes a long list of standard features, including automatic headlights, 16-inch steel wheels (alloys for models with AWB), cloth upholstery, driver power lumbar adjustment, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, power-adjustable side mirrors, keyless entry, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, air conditioning and a rearview camera. Technology features that come standard include an audio system with six speakers, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment setup, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, two USB ports, Bluetooth, and OnStar with a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Trax LT
The LT trim adds upgraded headlights and LED taillights, heated mirrors, roof rails, LED daytime running lights, updated cloth upholstery, cruise control, remote start, satellite radio and a 110-volt AC outlet in the rear. Front-wheel-drive models get alloy wheels.
Buyers can choose one of four available option packages. The LT Convenience package comes with a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, premium cloth upholstery, synthetic leather inserts, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and keyless ignition and entry. The Driver Confidence package adds rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring and rear parking sensors. The Sun and Sound package comes with a sunroof and a Bose premium stereo system with seven speakers. Finally, the Redline Edition gets 18-inch alloys, red accent stripes and black exterior accents.
Trax Premier
The top-line Trax Premier comes with all the LT’s option packages except the Redline Edition. Standard features include synthetic leather seats, 18-inch wheels, an auto-dimming mirror, fog lights, heated front seats, forward collision warning and lane departure warning.
