Buyers can choose from two bed sizes: standard and long. The long box models can get an optional dual-rear-wheel setup.

Buyers can choose the available Duramax 6.6-liter V8 turbodiesel generating 445 hp and an astounding 910 lb-ft of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic with an Allison 1000 Series gearbox, which helps to manage all that torque.

When properly outfitted, the Silverado 3500HD with the 6.0-liter V8 can tow a maximum of 14,200 pounds and haul up to 6,112 pounds. The turbo-diesel engine can tow up to 23,100 pounds and haul a maximum of 5,281 pounds.
