The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD is offered in Crew Cab and Double Cab configurations, with two cargo box sizes: a standard 6.5-foot bed or an available 8-foot bed. According to Chevrolet North Houston, there are four trim levels available: Work Truck (WT), LT, LTZ and High Country. Whichever trim you choose, you’ll get a standard 6.0-liter V8 engine producing 360 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque or an optional 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V8 that blasts out 445 hp and an amazing 910 lb-ft of torque. Both V8s are paired to an Allison 1000 six-speed automatic gearbox. Buyers can get the diesel unit with a bi-fuel option that allows it to run on gasoline or compressed natural gas.

Silverado 2500HD Work Truck

The WT trim comes with 17-inch steel wheels, rubberized floors, an auto-locking rear differential, a 40/20/40-split front bench seat, vinyl upholstery, a rearview camera, power door locks and windows, air conditioning, a tilt-only steering wheel, cruise control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch touchscreen, a six-speaker stereo system and Bluetooth. Options include OnStar with a 4G LTE connection and a Wi-Fi hotspot, and satellite radio. Buyers can choose the optional Custom package, which adds upgraded trim, 20-inch wheels and several convenience features.

Silverado 2500HD LT

The LT trim starts with the above features and adds 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, heated power-adjustable mirrors, a remote-locking tailgate, interior carpeting, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, cloth upholstery, rear privacy glass, a CD player, HD and satellite radio, and OnStar. Crew-cabs get an advanced steering system, while the LT with four-wheel drive gets an electronic transfer case controller.

Silverado 2500HD LTZ

Move up to the LTZ trim and the Silverado 2500HD gets 18-inch chrome alloy wheels, power-folding mirrors, foglights, remote engine start, a power-sliding rear window with a defogger, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, automatic climate control with two zones, heated power-adjustable front seats, leather upholstery, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, driver-seat memory settings, a seven-pin wiring harness with a trailer brake controller, and a 110-volt power outlet.

Silverado 2500HD High Country

The top-line High Country trim comes with 20-inch wheels, cargo box tie-downs, side-assist steps, all-terrain tires, power-adjustable pedals, a spray-in bedliner, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, a heated steering wheel, a Bose stereo system and navigation. The High Country also gets the features of the Driver Alert package, which features forward collision warning, lane departure warning and parking sensors.
